Why saving a LinkedIn image by right-click loses quality
The image you see in the feed is not the image that was uploaded. LinkedIn serves a resized copy sized for the layout, so saving it directly gives you something smaller and softer than the original. On a phone there is no right-click at all.
This tool asks for the high-resolution copy instead, which is the same file the author uploaded.
How to copy a LinkedIn post link
Click the three dots at the top right of the post and choose "Copy link to post". Paste it above. A link copied from the address bar works too, as long as the post is public.
Which LinkedIn images can be downloaded
Public posts work. Private posts, posts limited to connections, and anything that asks you to log in before you can see it will not work, because the tool sees exactly what a logged-out visitor sees.
Downloading an image does not give you the right to republish it. Your own content is yours to reuse anywhere. Someone else's is not, so ask first.
